Congratulations to the 92 Tasmanian students who accepted the challenge to participate in
the Rostrum Voice of Youth program in 2017.
In the junior section Sadie Buckland (Huonville High) won the State Final and will represent Tasmania in Brisbane on July 29th at the National Final. Congratulations to Jaimee Narracott (Huonville High) who was placed second and Gabriel Walton-Clear third.
In the senior section, Eamonn Shorter (Launceston Church Grammar School) was selected as Tasmania’s National representative, with Kelly Stone (New Town High School) second and Erin Galbraith (Marist Regional College) third. Eamonn, Kelly and Erin have all represented Tasmania in previous competitions.
Both Sadie and Eamonn have won $300 and an all-expenses paid weekend of activities in Brisbane.
We wish them both every success as they compete in the National Final.
